Wide Range of Applications
Pharmaceutical
Suitable for laboratory screening of pharmaceutical powders, APIs, excipients, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, and other dry pharmaceutical materials.
Particle size screening can help evaluate powder consistency and particle size distribution. For regulated pharmaceutical testing, users should follow the applicable pharmacopoeia and validated testing procedures.
Chemical
Suitable for chemical powders, reagents, pigments, metal salts, titanium dioxide, kaolin, mineral powders, and other dry laboratory materials.
Food
Suitable for laboratory or small-batch screening of flour, starch, sugar, spice powders, cocoa, tea powder, food additives, and other dry ingredients.
Herbal & Botanical
Suitable for screening and classifying powdered roots, rhizomes, flowers, leaves, fruits, and other dried botanical materials, including traditional herbal medicine powders.
Minerals & Industrial Materials
Suitable for preliminary screening of mineral powders, clay, kaolin, ceramic powders, pigments, metal powders, soil samples, and other granular materials.
Mesh Size Selection
10–60 Mesh — Coarse Screening
Suitable for preliminary screening and removing oversized particles from relatively coarse materials.
60–100 Mesh — Medium Screening
Suitable for general powder classification and particle size control.
100–200 Mesh — Fine Screening
Suitable for finer powders and laboratory particle size classification.
The appropriate mesh size should be selected according to the material and required particle size range.
How It Works
Place the sample on the sieve surface and shake or vibrate the sieve. Particles smaller than the sieve opening pass through, while larger particles remain on the screening surface.
Multiple sieves with different mesh sizes can be stacked together for sequential screening and particle size classification.
